The Xylem ANZ team worked with Transcend to incorporate ICEAS SBR designs as part of the Transcend Design Generator (TDG). Transcend was able to interface with Xylem’s existing design tools to create a ‘one stop shop’ for budgetary proposals and preliminary design of full scope treatment systems.
Problem
Xylem’s commercial teams were heavily dependent on engineering resources from business units who have their own workflows and priorities – resulting in long response times to customers and variable output quality.

The Xylem ANZ team worked with Transcend to incorporate ICEAS SBR designs as part of the
Transcend Design Generator (TDG). Transcend was able to interface with Xylem’s existing design tools to create a ‘one stop shop’ for budgetary proposals and preliminary design of full scope treatment systems.
Key Wins
- 50% reduction in turnaround time for ICEAS tenders (from 3 weeks to 1-2 weeks) using TDG
- More flexibility to influence the non-ICEAS parts of the TDG outputs
- Streamlined the ICEAS design process and created path for improved portfolio sales
