Isle Utilities, along with Xylem Innovation Labs and Transcend, will host a special end-of-year webinar that showcases an ongoing collaboration between Xylem and Transcend to streamline the wastewater treatment design proposal process for Xylem’s suite of innovative treatment solutions.
Xylem, a leading global water technology company, is committed to solving water through innovative technology solutions that meet the world’s water, wastewater, and energy needs. Transcend, a provider of generative design SaaS tools for critical infrastructure through the Transcend Design Generator, is participating together In a Trial Reservoir edition of the Water Action Platform on December 15th.
Isle’s Water Action platform provides a forum to share best practices across the water sector. Initiated in March 2020 to mount a water sector response to the COVID-19 pandemic, it now covers a much wider range of water-related topics and 1850+ people tune in each month from 1200+ organisations in 108 countries.
Jo Burgess, Head of Trial Reservoir at Isle Utilities said, “The Trial Reservoir special is a wonderful platform for technology users to show the actions they are taking to move to net zero carbon, and for technology developers to demonstrate their abilities to provide deployable solutions to end-users real needs”.
Adam Tank, Transcend’s Chief Customer Officer says, “Transcend is honored to work with both Isle and Xylem to showcase the power of our generative design tool, the Transcend Design Generator, for Xylem’s sales proposals. Working directly with these global water leaders to bring innovation into the sector is exactly the mission we aim to accomplish.”
The goal of the collaboration within Isle’s Trial Reservoir is to help improve Xylem’s proposal efficiency and response time to customers, as well as grow its business through holistic portfolio sales.
“Putting together proposals for complex wastewater treatment plants can be cumbersome and take a long time. Transcend’s software, through automation of wastewater treatment designs, can significantly reduce the response times to Xylem’s customers,” said Elma Kapa, Program Lead at Xylem Innovation Labs. “We’re not only excited about Transcend’s capabilities, but also to work with them and Isle Utilities through the Trial Reservoir to accelerate market adoption of new technologies,” she added.
