What’s new in TDG in the past month

New use case

Trickling Filters

  • Trickling Filters are used in a variety of applications, and they are being particularly evaluated in the UK market due to their low carbon impact.
  • Trickling filter is available as a secondary treatment option (add screenshot)
  • Trickling filter as new pre-biology roughing filter is now available for all wastewater users!
  • The user can select secondary trickling filter after any kind of pre-treatment and primary treatment option TDG provides, as well as following pre-biology treatment steps such as roughing trickling filter, UASB or Biologically Active Filter.

Moving up the Design Curve

  • We now generate a detailed Civil Bill of Quantities (BoQ) in Excel that has information on the material requirements for each building both in a summarized and a detailed format:

  • Carbon Footprint Document (CFD) Phase 2: The CFD now includes more data about the total embedded carbon for the civil components of a wastewater plant design. You will have the embedded carbon for groundwork and foundation preparation, reinforced concrete, and the total civil embedded carbon for the facility. Reach out to your CSM about making this document available in your instance!

Design Control

  • Updated Grit Removal: Validation limit increased from 2 to 10, allowing more selections without error messages.
