Transcend is disrupting the Engineering and Construction industry. Transcend Design Generator (“TDG”), a first-of-its-kind generative design software platform, enables the companies that design our global infrastructure to automate Design & Engineering work that is currently done manually. There is over 500 billion dollars spent on engineering services each year, and capital planning and project development processes have not changed in decades.  These companies are critical to our future, as they design our water, power, roads, and other core infrastructure. Due to their archaic processes, they are not innovating fast enough to impact our environment and help solve Climate Change. Over the last 10 years Transcend has developed and implemented a cloud-based software that completely changes the traditional process and transforms the culture of these engineering and construction firms around the world. The company has a unique remote culture with offices in Europe and the USA.

What you will be doing

As a crucial member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing product marketing plans to drive the success of our products in the market. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, customer success, enablement, content marketing, and demand marketing to ensure alignment and achievement of business objectives. This role reports to our Director of Marketing.

Summary of Responsibilities

  1. Go-To-Market Strategy
    1. Lead the development and execution of go-to-market plans for new product and feature launches.
    2. Define target audience segments, positioning, messaging, assisting with pricing and packaging, and distribution channels.
    3. Coordination with various resources – Product Managers, Sales and CS Leadership, Enablement, Demand Marketing, Content Creation– to identify each aspect that must be covered in the launch and ensure effective execution of each aspect
  2. Leadership for Technical Content
    1. Partner with Content Marketing to ensure all technical product marketing content effectively communicates the value proposition and key benefits of our products.
    2. Support/oversee the creation of compelling technical product marketing content, including sales presentations, product videos, website content, case studies, and whitepapers.
  3. Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Enablement:
    1. Collaborate with our Training and Education manager, Sales team, and CS Leader, to develop enablement tools and resources such as sales decks, battle cards, and product training materials.
    2. Provide sales and CS team members with the necessary product knowledge and support to effectively sell our products.
    3. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.
  4. Customer Marketing:
    1. Act as the voice of the customer, advocating for their needs, pain points, and aspirations throughout the product lifecycle.
    2. Develop and manage customer-focused campaigns to drive product adoption, retention, and advocacy.
  5. Market Awareness:
    1. Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, working closely w/ the Strategy & Competitive Intelligence Analyst.
    2.  Leverage insights to adapt marketing strategies and tactics, accordingly, ensuring our products remain competitive and relevant in the market.
  6. Performance Tracking and Analysis:
    1. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives.
    2. Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, market share trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for optimization and improvement.

Where you will be doing it:
This position is a 100% remote position with the flexibility to work from anywhere in North America. Similarly, the people you will be working with are from all over North America and Europe. Applicants should have a willingness to travel to major company functions and conferences, as well as be flexible in working on a diverse team across several time zones – 10-20% travel expected. The ability to travel internationally is a requirement.

We would love to hear from YOU if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SaaS product marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for new products.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems (HubSpot), and analytics platforms.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and driving business results.
  • Experience with Enterprise SaaS products with high dollar ACVs is preferred
